From left: Metroplex, Quickswitch, Star Saber, Deathsaurus
Kabaya Quickswitch
Very neat little figure. Has the best plastic quality of the 4 pieces, and colours also the brightest... hmm, don't know if have too much lead or not, hahaha.... Best of all, the 6 transformations still exist! Neat.... Pass on a KO full-size Quickswitch many many years ago, as did not like the big groin design... but somehow, this mini size doesn't seem so bad....
... still need to tighten up the arms joint and wing part, which droop a bit down, not nice in plane mode...
Kabaya Star Saber
I was tempted to buy the newly surfaced KO Star Saber online... and then this little figure appear... Sweet!!! ... Due to the softer KO plastic, some swivel joints (like the small plane's wings) cannot stay attached when turn, so got out my reliable Plastic Glue and with some of the sprue, made some fixing, now they stay in place when turning! hahaha...
... No G1 Star Saber to compare, so use the Robotmaster Star Saber to compare...
funny thing is RM Saber is smaller than Kabaya Saber, but RM Star Saber is much bigger than Kabaya Star Saber!!!!...
... Saber can also transform!!!.... and more nicer than RM Saber!!!
... Star Saber space cruiser mode...
... Still need to make some mode to store blade & gun in space cruiser... hmmm...perhaps can also "chrome" the sword...
Kabaya Deathsaurus
I have the KO Deathsaurus, but it is the triple-changer type and did not have the eagle-bot nor tail-shield... well, at least, this one has the tail-shield, though the eagle-bot is still missing... This little figure has details well-molded....
...comparison with my KO Deathsaurus...
... still need to work on the dragon leg connector piece to stay in place in dragon and bot mode... and also think of some ways to let the beast arms to pull out without coming off...
Kabaya Metroplex
Hahaha... finally not sore anymore... still remember bought 1 box which states Metroplex outside but is Rodimus Prime inside, and end up with 2 Rodimuses... Have since gotten the real Enore Metroplex, but still, cannot resist this... hmmm, can let it be Metrotitan!
... So small compared to the Encore Metroplex, hahaha...
You have a full size KO Deathsaurus? Awesome..~ Where did you buy it?
ReplyDeleteHi Zhariff, I gotten it many years back, in S'pore, at a kids toy shop in Bugis area, think is called Sin Tat Toys or something like that... That place also used to be my source of KO TFs, but has not been selling much KO TFs the past couple of years... sad...
