Side-Tracked: Recent Haul of KOs (3)

My folks bought these while on their 1 day tour to Malaysia. Although I have given them a list with pictures of the KOs I wanted, and despite my elder bro who also went with them (he is the one who did the searching there), these are not what I need, and not even look like any in the list. Hahaha... wonder how he manage to think these are on the list. Anyway, thanks to them!!! =)

(1) Energon Optimus Prime (w/ 4 OPs)
Nothing more to say... See Older KO Transformers Mod - Robotmaster Starscream, Indy (Armada minicon - Mirage), Energon Optimus Prime for my mini-but-Kabaya-oversized Energon Prime... Haha, got something to say lah... the submarine STILL has no openable fists... and the Energon Prime is the version which cannot open the chest to reveal the moulded matrix...


(2) Energon Prime & Rodimus Set
The packaging is same as the above one. Some parts damage as usual, but overall is quite good (at least both are able to combine without any fixes). I shall call this Energon Prime as Grand Convoy (the Japanese name) to avoid confusion...

I found this way of transforming the Grand Convoy in robot mode to be better looking, by only sliding down the thighs to become lower legs instead. In fact, it reminds me of the Classics/Universe Inferno... Note the helmet is moulded onto the head...

A comparison of the 2 KOs compared to my earlier KOs... The inner 2 are my old KOs... Yeap, I got the KO Energon Rodimus as well, haha... There is not much difference between the 2 Rodimuses, except the newer one has a bright red colour; the older has a dull red... I personally prefer the dark red one.. I dunno why, hahaha...


Finally, the combine mode of the 2 - I call it, Grand Rodimus. This is not the official transformation.. (see http://www.tfu.info/2004/Autobot/PXOptimusPrime/pxrobotmode.jpg for the "official" transformation) but I cannot help but try to pose it to the best looking as possible... Hmm... looks familiar... yah! Like Laser Optimus Prime! I open up the arms of Rodimus to form behind each leg to let it look better... (oops, forget to adjust Rodimus's head..)

Attached the guns to make it look better... Faked the shoulder gun, it is not securely attached, hahaha...
