Vehicle mode pictures....

I know it is not painted nicely... very rough surface, but sigh... what to do... can't find metallic spray paint, nor does this paint stick well to the plastic... anyway, next TF to work on... probably will be the Cattoys RM Star Saber and Victory Leo set, which I am having problems transforming the combiner feet...

  1. Considered buying tamiya or hobby colour spray cans ? Quite a waste not to paint such a good mold nicely man

    1. Hahaha, of coz thought of it, not I don't want, but can't find suitable ones in the hunting-trips, so become lazy and just use the bottle ones instead... will have to make do with this, and since displaying in glass cabinet, still don't look too bad...

    2. Well tbh consider putting more effort into perfecting the modifications before displaying them , if not after a while the issues will really get to you and it becomes extremely hard to redo the painting

    3. Huh? U mean i did not put in enuff efforts? This needs perfecting? How do you know the issues (if any) will really get to me? hmmm... tbh i think if it is enuff then let it be... Tks for suggesting. =)

    5. MP10 mold is a good TF indeed, it brings out the cartoon Optimus Prime very well...

    6. No as in you could have spent more time to look for suitable paint and all to make it a perfect custom. No doubt you put in work but it could be further improvised. Its my personal opinion really

    7. I disagree, since you are not me (thus not in my situation), I don't think you can really be in a good position to state whether my time spent on the search for paint is enough or need more or such. Whilst it is true almost everything can be improvised, there is no end to realising a "perfect" custom. To each his eyes, I will say, and my character is such of I will NOT go and comment others on whether they need to spend MORE time on this or that, since I may not know to a good extend on understanding what had happen for the person or process, and also because life is more than just painting or customising TFs or DX stuff etc, at least for me. So for me, often it is "good enough is enough". I respect your personal opinion, and also appreciate your suggestion, many thks. Do also understand this is my way of thinking and view/perspective. Right, anyway, won't be commenting on this issue anymore, looking back, it seems too trivial, so, have a good day! =)

    1. Thanks , 1 last question is it easy to take the KO MP10 apart? it a straight open stripe n paint right ? no spring or ratchet kind of thing that is hard to install back?
thank you so much in advance

    2. Not as easy, got some small parts, need to be careful not to loose any parts. Do try to take pictures of how the parts are fixed if can, before you dismantle for painting, so at least got some reference on how to assemble after painting.
