Restoration : Knockoff KO Simplified Oversized Iron Factory IF Ex-13 Blizzard Transformers Blitzwing

Not complete nor good articulations but ... at least a quite decent official jet mode... This toy uses a type of hard plastic is similar to the Pocket Toys seekers and CBB Hai Zhi Xing Combiner Wars Combaticons... which my normal superglue thickening to tighten loose joints will get worn off quickly... Decided to use hot glue for these toys, hopefully will last longer... Not sure if I want to restore the mini Doubledealers... as not in the best of mood now... the uncertainty situation is stressing me out, have to prepare mentally for sudden outburst / re-planning of workloads these few days...

Edit: Did some minor restorations eg. uniformed the colours and tightened the joints with hot glue, drill hole on bird's back for bottom-most wing to peg flat, sliced off wing peg to be thinner.... The slightly more major restoration is breaking up the missile into 2, like the original one. Decided to use magnets to join.

Bootleg Knockoff KO Mini Undersized Transformers G1 Doubledealer

Another cheap KO transformer toy bought from Taobao... I used to buy these type of KOs very frequently at local stores at that time where they are readily available... In fact, I used to own a similar such undersized KO G1 Doubledealer, but it was of much better quality plastic, with (non-transformable) powermasters, and more accurate colours... but sold it away many years ago...Anyway, to clarify, the previous KO Oversized Iron Factory Blizzard a.k.a. Blitzwing is NOT made of shampoo-bottle plastic, but a much rigid type. This KO mini G1 Doubledealer is made of shampoo-bottle plastic. Yes, the type that I love and hate at the same time... Love : virtually indestructible and very flexible... Hate: Cannot use superglue and paint pen on it... Anyway...

Knockoff KO Simplified Oversized Iron Factory IF Ex-13 Blizzard ( Transformers Blitzwing )

A cheap KO of the Iron Factory IF Ex-13 Blizzard ( Transformers Blitzwing ) which is also slightly oversized and simplified. Bought 2 of them as I wanted to mix them in order to get 1 that looks more like the original colours. Both have very loose right leg joints from the hips. Jet mode literally needs to be flipped around to resemble a plane without showing off the head and hands. Probably will need some work to restore it (near-original colour one) to satisfactory level.

Transformers War of Cybertron Trilogy - EARTHRISE STARSCREAM ( Voyager Class )

Gotten from Taobao... A nice voyager class Starscream figure that is "inspired" / "pays homage to" the Classics HenkeiX2 Universe Generations Starscream which is deluxe class... hmmm... how come it reminds me of the 3rd party KO which oversizes and improves the Hasbro TFs... so Hasbro KO itself??? Anyway, it does not matter, as long as ultimately the TF is a good TF... and this Starscream is a very good TF, for me, that is...

Transformers Siege - Battle Masters : Firedrive ( with Handle Modifications )

Gotten this at TRU for SGD9.99 .... This targetmaster looks more natural than some of the other targetmasters in the Siege line, at least it does not have a handle sticking out of the chest... Though this is named Firedrive, I believe he may be linked back to Hot Rod's targetmaster partner Firebolt ... This targetmaster fits into the fist of my KO MP Hot Rod nicely, but the port to hold it in car mode is shaped weirdly in a rectangular shape. I have to file (and test, and repeat) the sides of the handle to fit Firedrive in. Quite a easy mod, but do try to file/sand a bit by a time...

MFT (?) Vecma Studio VS-03 VS03 Head Warrior Obstinate a.k.a. G1 Hardhead

Is it Mech Fans Toys ? Not sure, but it is a heavily retooled/modification/whatever of the Unique Toys Schunck ... or Betta ... not sure which is which... anyway, this came with 2 headmasters that allows you to choose a more cartoon-accurate or toy-accurate look for the figure. Plastic used is not the brittle-rigid type but has a little rubbery feel which I think is good for especially ball-joints. Joints' tightness are just nice. I bought without the small armor robot. Very nice figure.
