Yay! My KO TFC Hercules finally arrived last night! Gotten from Taobao.com through a local agent 65daigou, this massive KO costs me approximately SGD52.05 including shipping and agent fee... Expensive.. Still, considering it is only about 1/10th of the price of the TFC Hercules, I can accept the price... Very BIG box... And yes, this is the 金宝 version (i.e. the 2nd KO version of TFC Hercules) with a more accurate head..
Detombed!!!!
Here's a closer look at the various parts of this KO...
Assembled! Some of the individual bots may have parts assembled opposite, but luckily the parts can be disassemble and reattach back easily... Super nice.... The materials seem to be of a semi-"waxy" plastic, not very thin, but still with a tinge of brittleness... Just have to be a bit careful and gentle when transforming it... Definitely simplified (as compared to the TFC Hercules video reviews on Youtube)... Joints are generally not loose, but also not the tight ones, and with a weird "waxy-snug" feel, probably due to the materials used... Overall this figure is quite light, much to my delight, as this means the joints of the gestalt need not be super tight...
Compare to my KO G1 Devastator... This new KO looks huge...
Compare to my KO G1 Devastator with Junkion Blacksmith add-on set... This new KO still looks huge...
Compare to my Star Cats Dino Combiner... This new KO still still looks huge!!!! ...
Will try to start all the fixing and restorations when my KO version 1 twin-pack (of the crane and bulldozer fellas) arrive... Till then, its lazing time!!!!
Love the photos. I have this guy on order. Do you have any photos of the figures in singles?

ReplyDeleteFeel wanted to get it after viewed your photos.
May i know where can i get it?
I got my stuff mostly from Taobao.com, which is a Chinese online-stores website similar to eBay. You may want to try out other online toy shops eg. Sirtoys, or maybe Aliexpress, no guarantee though.
DeleteCan you send me the link for the seller from TaoBao which u deal before?

DeleteMine is from this seller, but no guarantees. Think now got a version 2 which they reinforces some of the weaker joints and such.
