SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden SDガンダムワールド 三国創傑伝 Zhuge Liang Freedom Gundam 諸葛亮フリーダムガンダム

Master of Strategy... Will be displaying him in my office cubicle... Did some minor painting on this figure, slightly more than the previous one (Guan Yu version)... Wishing all a Happy New Year!

Transformers - War for Cybertron Trilogy : Siege ( Leader Class ) Astrotrain

Bought it at Taobao, total cost is SGD61.58... Considered quite a cheap price compared to the official retail price here... But really, this is just a Voyager class toy, with some additional plastic pieces which I don't really think is necessary... Heard that Earthrise will re-release this in a kibble-less version, not sure if it is true.... But the main figure is a good toy, in my opinion... Figure feels heavy, not sure why... Joints are relatively tight enough... Nice...

Transformers G1 Bumblebee ( Cartoon Face Version )

Bought this at the Santa's Warehouse Sale a few days ago, costs SGD10... This sale at Bishan CC has ended but there will be another run at Jurong Logistics Hub, from 19 to 22 Dec, timing please ask Google... Bought this because my other G1 Bumblebee has a masked face, while the KO Kabaya one has a Cliffjumper face... Need to be careful when pulling out the feet for transformation (have to press the foot with thumb and finger, then pull out the foot). Looks good with the other Bumblebees, especially the NA Toys design.

NewAge Toys NA 03 Harry a.k.a. Transformers G1 Prowl

The packaging say this is for age 15+... Bought it at Taobao at total cost of SGD29.69 ... Very expensive for a very small figure, but the transformation, plastic quality and articulation is pretty good, and quite worth the price. Comparing this to the MFT / MS Prowl, this is definitely smaller but cuter, and both are equally good. No place to store the weapons in car mode but not much of an issue as I am displaying it in robot mode.

NewAge Toys NA 04 Murphy a.k.a. Transformers G1 Bluestreak

The packaging say this is for age 15+... Bought it at Taobao at total cost of SGD31.55 ... Very expensive for a very small figure, but the transformation, plastic quality and articulation is pretty good, and quite worth the price. Comparing this to the Generations Legends Class Bluestreak, this has better articulation and g1-looks in both modes. No place to store the weapons in car mode but not much of an issue as I am displaying it in robot mode.

Transformers - War for Cybertron Trilogy : Siege ( Voyager Class ) Springer

Bought this cos this looks like the G1 style, no other reasons... instructions are in Chinese because it is the China retail version... Realised that I cannot resist G1 styled transformers... My set has pretty good ankle rock joints, hope they stay this way...

MFT (?) Mechanic Studio MS-19 MS19 Flame Commander a.k.a. Transformers G1 Rodimus Prime

Is Mechanic Studio also Mech Fans Toys??? A sub-company? Regardless, it appears to be going strong... Though my MS Sideswipe is now RIP-ed, having fall down from quite a height and broken the hip ball joint... Anyway, bought this as I don't have many Rodimus Primes in my collection... maybe I remembered wrongly... but this seemed to be quite a fun toy... I pasted the Autobot logo on the chest and car front piece... Plastic quality is good, similar / same as that of the recent MFT Ultra Magnus. The matt surface makes this figure looks better. Joints are reasonably tight too, and some joints need to be "run-in" a few times before having a smooth transformation. Strangely, this happens to my Siege Springer too. The targetmaster that comes with it seems a bit too big, especially in gun mode, but robot mode looks ok in proportion with Rodimus. And the nicest thing is that it can be held by Papa Toys ( PPT ) Hot Rod !!!!! So now my PPT Hot Rod can be a true targetmaster, with the true intention of hole on the engine fulfilled...

酷变宝 Ku Bian Bao KBB Tyrone Cable King 暴龙钢索王拼装版 - KO Warbotron Rex - G1 Transformers Grimlock

Bought this long time ago but did not assemble it... It is a KO of the Warbotron Rex set... I also had the oversized on by Zhan Jiang, which has some changes / improvements to this mold... This one is probably going to be displayed in my office cubicle... Cute little figure... The name is called such probably because of: (1) Tyrone - rhymes with the word "Tyrant", which in Chinese is 霸王... (2) Cable King - which in Chinese is 钢索王, where the 王 translates to King. I believe the earliest Chinese translation for Grimlock is 钢锁, because of the ‘lock’ which is 锁 (i.e. 钢索 means Steel Lock). As time passes, mis-translation happens to become 钢锁 which is a common Chinese word, and it means Steel Cable. Hence Grimlock is also commonly appeared as 钢索 (-cable) instead of 钢锁 (-lock). Disclaimer : Above is only my speculation...

KO Bootleg Gobots Spay-C SpayC - Video Momento

A KO which I bought from eBay years ago, after I realised I stupidly threw/lost the original one many many years ago... I remember my parent bought it (original one) before I was scheduled to go for an eye operation to lift my morale... Not sure why it was gone... but I had a chance to get it again, though it had to be a KO... Not sure if I will restore the tail to swivel as the original one, maybe, maybe not...

Restoration : KO Bootleg Transformers Robotmasters Star Saber Victory Leo : Victory Saber

An old bootleg from the company Cattoys bought years ago, and took a day to touch up... Now on display on my laptop shelf.... Victory Leo's lion hind legs has the peg molded offset from the centre, hence when transforming the gestalt feet, the hole cannot fit in the peg. Previously I had to mis-transform and swap the feet in gestalt mode, and the protruding lion legs at the gestalt feet looks a bit ugly. I modded by enlarging the hole longer slightly, so that now the pegs can fit in. The 2nd attempt I over-enlarge the hole and had to spent much time to restore back the plastic... Luckily everything works fine now...

IronTrans ( Mini Series ) M01 M-01 PoliceCar a.k.a. Transformers G1 Prowl

A very nice little Legends+ figure from IronTrans. This is quite an accurate G1 Prowl, and also comes with 2 shoulder cannons to be G1-toy-accurate. The plastic used is pretty similar to the newer MFTs and not too bad, though detailed collectors may find the plastic swirls kind of ugly. Strangely, these plastic swirls seem to be "consistence", as seen in some Bilibili video reviews, the swirls looks uncannily identical!!!! Anyway, this figure is good enough for me. Another G1 character added to the collection.

Comparison with MFT / MS Hound...

SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden SDガンダムワールド 三国創傑伝 Guan Yu Yun Chang v Gundam 関羽雲長νガンダム

Bought this from Taobao for SGD10.78. Bought this because I could not find it when I purchase the Zhuge Liang kit earlier. A very cute little SD Gundam figure. Used a gold marker to touch up some gold parts, but realised the gold is not "shiny gold" enough, and looked more like bronze, but oh well... Also used black acrylic to fill in the "nostrils". Looks good enough for me as a display when look from far (don't think I will look at it near as I have long-sightedness...)... Will assemble the Zhuge Liang version soon...

Transformers Siege Triple Changer Voyager Class Apeface

Gotten this locally for SGD45... Had wanted to get this figure since I saw the news this figure is going to be released, as I had never own any of the Decepticons Triple Changer Headmaster. Despite seeing many reviewers not liking the white plastic, I don't feel it is that bad. In fact, its flexibility will probably help to prevent the small pegs to break off easily. A few points I thought of sharing:
(1) I trimmed the port-hole for the shield in jet mode using a DIA 4.5mm twist drill bit. It is still hard to pull out the shield but considerably easier than when it is before trimming.
(2) There is a "C" shaped clip-like thing on the gorilla neck that probably needs to be plug in first to make it easier to then snap other parts into place, in gorilla mode.
(3) I prefer to put the nosecone down compared to the official transformation, so that the whole silhouette/profile of the robot mode will be cleaner. The (thickness of the) backpack does not change regardless of which configuration. But that's my personal preference.

Overall, a very good TF. Will probably try to remove the silver paint splatter especially on the black legs... hmmm... maybe not... not sure...

KO Downsized Transformers The Last Knight Voyager Class Optimus Prime

Costs SGD12.16, from Taobao.com. This is supposedly a free (exclude shipping) item for buyers in China who bought the oversized movie Grimlock, but found a few sellers also selling them separately. An almost straight downsized KO of the Transformers The Last Knight Voyager Class Optimus Prime, this thing is fragile, with super small ball joints and pins. Do be careful when transforming it. The materials seem to be very very close to Hasbro's - lightly scratch the surface with your fingernail to feel the slight rubbery feel. Most joints are sufficiently tight too, and some screws can be slightly loosen if feel too tight.  Overall a cute little TF figure.

AoYi 奥意 Sai Star Commander 塞星司令官 a.k.a. KO Transformers Studio Series SS-38 Optimus Prime

Costs SGD19.34... Plastic quality is quite ok, has a bit of the rubbery feel to it, i.e. softer plastic. The physical toy has a slightly duller/darker colour than that seen in the video. Mine is the batch 2+ version, with the hips assembled correctly. The legs are slightly changed, according to some other Chinese reviewers. The leg-shin parts do not tab in properly, but are neither floppy, just that I still feel a bit uncomfortable when handling or transforming the legs. Due to the chest is made of die-cast now, the holes on the body needs to be trimmed a bit to allow the window-chest to be flatter and lesser slant. For the truck bumper, I just cannot make the top piece to be flushed completely with the main bumper. Most joints are tight enough, though some can be better. Overall a good KO...

BPF Commander a.k.a. Oversized KO Transformers Siege Optimus Prime

Costs SGD21.87... The plastic quality is quite ok, and has added die-cast to some parts. Most joints are tight. The major complaint on this KO is that the front wheels are overly tight right out of the box, and many have broken the joints at the first attempt to transform when they pulled the wheels out hard. So for 1st time transform, it is good to push out the wheels from the inside, slowly wriggle the front wheel out while avoiding blocking from the other body parts nearby. Once the wheel can be pulled out, take some time to slowly trim off the parts as seen in the video around 5:26 to 6:22 . I also trim off some other parts for easier transformation. Initially wanted to cut off the protruding top light of the truck mode, but now am thinking maybe not to... Maybe next time... Overall, a good piece of KO...

Mech Fans Toys MFT MF-48 - Ultrl Magenus a.k.a. Transformers G1 Ultra Magnus

Mech Fans Toys MFT MF-48 - Ultrl Magenus a.k.a. Transformers G1 Ultra Magnus City Commander Version 2.0 ... This is the slightly oversized KO of the Magic Square MS-B04 Transporter , a.k.a. Transformers G1 Ultra Magnus. This is a slightly more stylised and slimmer version of Ultra Magnus, comapres to the Papa Toy version. The leg transformation are almost identical, including how the wheels are transformed in robot and vehicle mode... Some changes or improvements made on this version compared to the original Magic Square's include sapce with opening in the body to house in the Matrix of Leadership, ramps at rear of vehicle mode can be folded down, face sculpt different etc...

Mech Fans Toys MFT 45 - Fire Engine a.k.a. Transformers G1 Inferno

Yeap, this is the slightly oversized KO of the Magic Square MS-B02 Fire Extinguisher , a.k.a. Transformers G1 Inferno. Forgotten to include the comparison of the Papa toys version to this KO. But frankly, I prefer this version over the Papa Toys one, as I always felt Papa Toy's version has an overly-fat body, and overly small "helmet wings", and plus the fact I always thought Inferno's head should be fully contained within the ladder-base... MFT does add in / change some details / features, eg. water-spray effects, different head, longer nozzle hand, white circles' paint details etc... the pin to connect the tiny gun-like thing on the "helmet wings" broke, so I have to repair using a small screw... Also shaved off some plastics on the shoulder tips and the other parts of their connection to prevent further stress to the shoulder's ball joint peg...

Mechanic Studio MS-13 MS13 - Detective a.k.a. Transformers G1 Hound

Very chubby face... and short arms... but this is a good figure that represents both the robot and vehicle mode of G1 Hound quite well... There seem to be 2 ways to transform the feet, but I choose to do the one that is different from that shown in the packaging pictures, as I prefer to keep the legs short so as to have a better proportion to the short arms...

New Age ( NA ) Toys : Security - McCoy a.k.a. Transformers G1 Ironhide

A young G1 Ironhide, judging by the face sculpt it has... New Age Toys continues to deliver a very nice transforming G1-ish mini figure, though this time, this Ironhide looks a bit hollow from the side... but since it is a Legends class figure, this is quite forgivable... I used a red permanent marker to paint the exposed metal pin ends to let them blend in better with the red plastic... did not work that well but I guess that will have to do...

Transformers War For Cybertron : Seige - ( Commander Class ) Jetfire a.k.a. G1 Skyfire

Finally this figure landed in Singapore stores... Cost me around $128 after a 20% discount in Metro. It is a bit costly, but considering this looks so G1 Skyfire, I will love to have it in my collection... The nearest G1 Skyfire figure I had until then was the Henkei Henkei Jetfire, but even that jet mode was more like the toy version. This Siege Jetfire resembles his G1 counterpart in both robot and jet mode (except in jet mode, where the air intakes at the side are now front-facing instead of back-facing, but not a big deal)... And with this, I don't have to spend a hefty price on 3rd-party Skyfires... Transformation is quite simple but have to watch out for tabs to tab in properly... and initially some tabs are hard to tab in but this gradually improves over time... Overall a very nice figure...

After Restoration : KO Downsized Transformers Unicron Trilogy Cybertron Optimus Prime

Costs about SGD19. This KO or bootleg Transformers Unicron Trilogy Cybertron Optimus Prime is downsized to about Voyager sized in its Super mode.

Edit: Packaging of toy. From the front, not much difference. But the negative factor are the various mis-assembled parts that needed to knock out the pins for reversing the parts correctly back. The head is a basically a fixed mold of 2 parts, with the "fins" molded together with the head in the folded back position. Plastic quality is actually above average, for a KO. Only recommended for those who are willing and able to spend time to restore the figure back as it is not transformable completely right out of the box. But the simplifications are kept miminum and most are not that critical.

Basically, this is a box of PARTS for the figure, with many mis-assemblies, missing parts, sprues, etc etc. Need to knock out quite some pins and rearrange the parts to transform properly. Have to make the "head-fins" for the robot head in super mode, as well as the "backpack straps". Took days before finally done. Part 2 will show the Super mode.

( Wei Jiang ???) Model Wizard - Steel Claw 钢爪 KO Power of the Primes Predaking : POTP Razorclaw

Finally after a long wait, Predaking can be formed... Gotten this for about SGD12, quality is similar to the previous release ( Headstrong )... Razorclaw's cannon weapon has a short round peg that makes it impossible for him to hold the weapon in robot mode, hence I added a longer peg at the cannon weapon. The original LED feature brightens up the whole head, which I have since rectified to only let light shine through the eyes. Overall quite a good KO TF.

Combiner Parts Holding Restoration : 孩之星 大力神 Cool Become Brave KO Transformers CW Devastator

Modified my recently bought Cool Become Brave CBB KO / bootleg Transformers downsized Combiner Wars CW Devastator ( Constructicons ) . Used combination of superglue + tissue paper to fill up the bigger holes ( Hook fists, and Long Haul's back's 2 peg-holes and slots) that are supposed to hold the pegs of combiner parts. Earlier tried to use hot-glue but did not work well.

( Wei Jiang ???) Model Wizard - Sharp Blade 猛刀 KO Power of the Primes Predaking : POTP Tantrum

The 4th member of the KO POTP Predacons... This Tantrum has similar plastic quality as the previous ones, but the joints are not as tight as the previous release, i.e. Headstrong. Perhaps there could be quite some feedback back in China to have caused this loosening up of the joints. Having said that, joints are not very loose and actually still able to handle the posing, and also some joints can be slightly tightened up a teeny bit by screwing the screw tighter... The part to slide into the gestalt crotch are seem to be slightly thinner on this one than Headstrong's ( I had to sand off Headstrong's connector piece even after trimming the gestalt crotch cavity side, to be able to slide in and out the gestalt leg comfortably without fearing to break the joint... ) Cost approximately SGD13 - ... Waiting eagerly for the Razorclaw to be out so that Predaking can finally be completed... Hmm... will I sell off my Jinbao Predaking??... really out of display space...

孩之星 Cool Become Brave KO Downsized Transformers Combiner Wars Devastator ( Constructicons )

Finally gotten this super nice gestalt! Constructicons!!! This size is just nice to go with the Combiner Wars Bruticus ( KO version ) that I have, which also happens to be from the same company that made this downsized Devastator. Plastic seemed to be the close to the "shampoo bottle" type, as superglue does not adhere well to it, and it feels very "oily". Nevertheless, this type of plastic will be the more durable type, so am not complaining. Overall joints are reasonably tight, some overly tight, and only a couple are loose. As with all KOs, some tightening of the joints with superglue, touching up of peg-holes, swapping of wrongly assembled parts, etc etc has to be done. Wanted to paint the wheel rims to silver but feel that this could make the overall cartoonish look go away... Anyway, am likely to put some Decepticon logos onto it... First up are Scrapper and Mixmaster, the legs...

Next 2 of the Constructicons... Scavenger and Bonecrusher, the arms..

Final 2 of the Constructicons... Hook and Long Haul, the torso(s)...

" Constructicons , transform! Phase 1!" "Now, transform! Phase 2!!" "Prepare to meet your doom, nothing can withstand the might of... Devastator !!! " ... In gestalt mode, this Devastator is slightly taller than my KO CW Bruticus which has the KO PE add-on feet and hands. In 1 way it is right, as this combiner is made of 6 robots, while Bruticus is made up of only 5. It is quite interesting to see how some collectors talked about this Devastator is still quite big and will be perfect if shorter a little bit, something like that... For me, even in the real world no man are same in height, so why force our (toy) transformers to be exactly same in height? Anyway, everyone has their own perspective, that I can understand... No matter, this is a very very good TF, but because it is shrunk down, the pegs, pins, etc become very small, hence have to be careful when transforming it. Overall, a very good companion to the Combiner Wars gestalts' display...

MFT Mechanic Studio Mech Soul MS-11 Mini Sentry a.k.a. G1 Transformers Omega Supreme

Cute little fella!!!! Wanted a small sized Omega Supreme figure, but did not expect to be able to get one so small... very good modification of the Diaclone Armor Suit to become Omega Supreme... Personally will prefer a 3-claw arm, but this is still acceptable. Overall, a very nice figure.

Toy World TW-GS02 Whisky Jack 千斤顶 a.k.a. G1 Autobot Transformers Wheeljack

A tiny transforming figure that costs SGD26++ ( or is it SGD28++ ?? )... But still slightly taller than NA Jazz in robot mode... Have to tighten 1 of the "wing" joint as it was very loose upon unboxing... also have to scrape off some of the plastic in the missile's hole for the rifle as the rifle handle seemed to be too thick with the paint... This figure is really impressive with the super detailed paint-job that seem to be replicating the Masterpiece version... in fact it looks like a mini Masterpiece Wheeljack... The head sculpt is also very reminiscence of the G1 cartoon version... Upper and lower arm proportion may seem a bit off but at this small scale-size it does not look that bad... This TW Wheeljack looks so much "wheeljack" than my Generations Wheeljack, with the less-exposed wheels and more accurate "wings" in robot mode...

NewAge Toys NA - Special Operations Saboteur : Manero a.k.a. G1 Autobot Transformers Jazz

A tiny transforming figure that costs SGD26++ ( or is it SGD28++ ?? )... But it is a very very nice interpretation of G1 Jazz, which I think my Reveal The Shield - Jazz has been doing that job in my TF collection... But while RTS Jazz is a very nice figure, it is more identical to the G1 toy version, with the exposed doors in robot mode, while this NA Jazz manages to resemble the G1 cartoon version closer without exposed doors in robot mode... Joints are sufficiently tight but I felt the leg ones may be slightly towards the loose side... so far no extra tightening of joints made yet... material used is also very good, which I felt ball joints should not wear out fast... Leg transformation is absolutely creative and intricate, especially at this scale-size... I put on the Autobot insignia for fun... The 2 loudspeakers will be kept in ziplock bags for a long long time as I don't really like them in either car or robot mode...

Mech Fans Toys MFT (?) Vecma Studio - HeadWarrior VS-02 Wolfman Wolf Warriors

... a.k.a. Transformers G1 Decepticons Headmasters Weirdwolf... Think cost approximately SGD23+... Plastic used seemed to be slightly better than the VS-01 Cool One ChivalRouser ( Chromedome )... It seemd they made changes to the tail-sword so that it will not fit in in the top of the wolf buttocks but now is straight into the... sigh, weird Chinese KO-manufacturer... anyway, transformation is quite smooth with the sufficiently tight joints for most joints... Fun little headmaster.... Figure does not come with Decepticon insignia...

Update : JinBao 金宝 D.F04 Optimum Warrior a.k.a. OS KO DX9 Dutch ( Transformers G1 Optimus Prime )

Forgotten to compare the KO DX9 with the KBB KO GT in vehicle mode... also show here the little Roller which can tow the trailer...

JinBao 金宝 D.F04 Optimum Warrior a.k.a. Oversized KO DX9 Dutch ( Transformers G1 Optimus Prime )

To be frank, I just wanted to have the main figure... just like the Hot Soldier version, which I would have bought it long ago if not for the high price that one has to pay with the addition of the trailer... This is still not too bad as the price is quite low... Toy is made of a slightly softer plastic which I think is much better in terms of handling-feel (gives a smooth transformation flow)... This type of plastic also feel the ball joints may be less prone to wearing out, compared to the rigid hard type... As with most KOs, some trimming and tightening of joints ( actually those joints are not very loose, just that I want to have the joints tighter...And these are just a bit only... Overall, very happy to have gotten this figure...

Paint Touch-Up - KO ( Downsized Ultra Class ??? ) Optimus Primal ( Transformers Beast Wars )

Painted the head of this shampoo-bottle-plastic-ish KO using blue acrylic paint. After this picture is taken, I sealed the paint with super-glue, hope it can help prevent scratches while transforming. Also added some paint to the side of upper legs, and touch up some chipped paint... It looked slightly better...

Repaint Eyes for Model Wizard / Wei Jiang Predaking KO POTP Rampage

The black eyes of KO POTP Rampage (robot mode) seem very weird to me since the day I got them, hence decided will want to paint them today... It will be easier to paint the eyes without smearing accidentally onto the sides around the eyes if the eyes are disassembled and taken out first. Yellow paint pen is used. Also painted the gold eyes of tiger mode into yellow too, to break the eyes from the top forehead golden patch...

Once dried, heads are assembled back...

To me it looks much normal with this eyes colour... wanted to paint the face-plate but then decided not to due to laziness...

Mech Fans Toys ( MFT ) Mech Studio MS05 - Red Bro a.k.a. G1 Transformers Sideswipe

Again is from Taobao.com... forgotten the price... This is the Mech Studio series where MFT comes up with their own design, not KO, similar to their previous Springer. This looks very much like the MP-12, a mini version. Quite nice to transform, but QC level is not good. Lots of trimming to do, have to fix the loose shoulder pins, 1 side of the robot face chin has the blue metallic paint on it, etc. I painted some parts on the shoulder joints to red as the white is very visible when looking it from top. Also painted black the silver screws used for black parts to blend in better... Overall quite a nice figure.

KuBianBao 酷变宝 Ku Bian Bao KBB - KO Evasion Optimus Prime and KO DX9 Armor Kit Set 飞翼擎天

Shipping is more than the actual toy...sigh... anyway, a very nice KO set... I bought this set mainly because I wanted the mouth-plate OP head to put on my previously bought KBB Evasion OP, but slowly grow to like this armor form too... Have to trim the feet tabs as they are too tightly kept in truck mode... Also have to tighten some joints... its a KO after all.... Oh, also painted the eyes blue...

( Wei Jiang ???) Model Wizard - Iron Rhino 铁灵犀 KO Power of the Primes Predaking : POTP Headstrong

Gotten this KO transformers from Taobao.com, for approximately SGD11.  I kind of like this type of soft texture-feel plastic. Joints are quite tight, and as usual, there are a lot of sprue marks to trim. Comes with a set of ratchet joint for their KO Rampage to change the loose gestalt shoulder joint. I do not own the Hasbro version, but from what I gather from the other reviews, this Wizard World version improves on a couple of features e.g. rhino mouth can open, lower leg cover to hide the cavity in robot mode. Overall very nice.

** Side Note: KO Divebomb - I had to file off 1 side of the gestalt's hip joint inner space as it was stupidly tight to slot in this KO Headstrong into it. Strangely, only 1 side of the hip joint is too tight.

Transformers Tiny Turbo Changers Series 3

Gotten these at the (Singapore) Takashimaya Collectibles Toy Fair, which will end 26 March 2019... and they costs only SGD1 for each pack!!!! I got Optimus Prime, Slug, Bumblebee, Dino and Sentinel Prime... Very cute, probably will bring over to my office cubicle to display...

( Wei Jiang ???) Model Wizard - Sabertooth 暴齿虎 KO Power of the Primes Predaking : POTP Rampage

Cost around SGD10 +-, from Taobao.com. First reaction was the plastic seem to be thinner than the KO Divebomb's, but realized it was not actually. As mentioned many times before, I prefer the gestalt/combiner transformers to be made of a lighter and reasonably rigid plastic, as the limbs, especially arms, will have lesser posing issue. Though most joints are reasonably tight, the gestalt shoulder joint is quite weak this time compared to the KO Divebomb's. I had to do lots of work in reinforcing the joint before getting an okay joint.

I also added springs back to the robot's thigh joints just to make them slightly better. Decepticon symbol sticker is added myself. Looking forward to all 5 Predacons completely release to form... Predaking!

Side-Tracked: Recent Haul of KOs (227) - Model Wizard - War Eagle 战鹏 a.k.a. KO Power of the Primes Predaking : POTP Divebomb

Bought from Taobao, costs approx. SGD15.45... plastic felt a teeny bit rubbery, so no worries over brittleness... spent over an hour slowly trimming the sprue marks, some even file and polish... not sure why.. am sad, perhaps... hahaha... there are some changes to the mold, I think, after seeing the POTP Divebomb Youtube reviews... Now the feet are ball jointed, but they are not very strong to totally support the heavy backpack, need some positioning to stand the figure... also the knee are not super strong too... anyway, still can stand... and probably if the remaining 4 figures are out, then this is unlikely to be left in individual robot mode...

Articulated hand.... much better than the original...

Which gun configuration do I prefer? hmmmm...
