Side-Tracked: Recent Haul of KOs (55)

Send my car for servicing and change tyres today... went jalan, and bought these KOs... Coincidentally, I had wanted to buy these 2 (together with some other KOs) in my planned 2nd batch of buying from TaoBao... yeap, so now fulfilled 2 wishes earlier...


(1) Astroplan - Sky Arrow 1
Frankly speaking, this is not a true full KO... The figure has been redesigned from Macross's Valkyries (pronounced: "Vao-li-ki-li-s"... by the Japanese... I think... ), and it has its own cartoon... so some people say its a homage to Macross... Heck, doesn't matter to me... This is the 9011 series which is supposed to be smaller aroud 12 cm, but when I measure, it is almost 15cm... Plastic is similar to Henkei Starscream's... soft rubbery type... nope, it not very soft, just the surface feels softer... Some mis-assembling and too tight/loose joint... smudge paint... as usual... very nice piece... when transformed to jet mode, the canopy droops slightly, anime type... Should I mod the wings to fold down like Macross's Valkyrie?... hmmm....

(2) KO TFTM Leader Optimus Prime (Slightly Simplified Version)

Considered a long time before buying this piece... Why?... Because this is the slightly-more-simplified piece, not the not-very-simplified version which I wanted to buy from TaoBao... "Slightly-more-simplified" means : Shoulder pads as 1 piece, no movable thumbs, 2 rear wheel are connected to 1 solid piece that can "break", knee pads are hollow in front, shins have no separate gray colour pieces (deco), feet are given but front bumper grill are molded as 1 piece, non-clear windscreen ...

Luckily, I still got 1 very simplified version to play with... and best thing is these 2 versions almost compliment to each other, to be able to form a complete non-simplified one!!!!! ... hahaha... weird KO world...
