As expected, the pin inside the jet canopy broke after a couple of attempts to transform him... which is just fine, since I intend to do so in the first place so as to rotate and hide the robot face in jet mode...
I always felt the jet mode wings are placed too front and this makes the jet mode ugly... And I also stupidly thought that I can bring the wings section back further by some minor customising, but the shape of the torso denies it... In the end I just manage to bring it back by about 7mm to 8mm only...
Have to also make new tab-holes on the legs... Took some time trying to figure out how to custom and also some time to realized that this cannot be done in a simple lazy-man's way...
Anyway, done!!! Wings are pushed back 7 - 8mm only, which makes only a slight difference, but to me, at least I tried and improved its jet mode maybe by 5 percent, and I am happy with it... The front "gun" helps to extend the length of the jet to make the proportion better (makes the wings appear to be nearer to the back too)...
And in robot mode... He is actually quite ok but will still need some drops of superglue to his feet joint pins to tighten up the joints to let him stand stable... With a pair of new foldable wings, his arms aesthetics looks much better than the DX9 version which has long wings sticking out on the arms...
Reunited with his boss... now left his other friend... which I had pre-ordered... hahahaha...
And with Henkei Cyclonus besides him in robot mode...
... and Cyclonuses in jet mode... Henkei version has it right in the sense that the wings are at the rear... However, MFT version's wings are much sleeker and nicer in shape...
