Update: Cattoys Robot Masters Victory Saber - Touching Up

And yeap, took a day (today) to touch up my Cattoys RM Victory Saber Set... Not sure if this set is a QC-reject, but this Cattoys RM Victory Saber is quite bad... lots of sprue leftovers not cleaned, terrible paint-job, 2 halves of parts are misaligned, etc... only good thing are some joints are tight enough... anyway, am glad that this is finally done... Kept some of the arsenal that this set came with, and not use them for display...


Here's all 3 components in their alternate modes...


Saber, in his jet mode...


Saber combined with V-Star, jet mode...


And here is Victory Leo in his primary alternate mode (winged-lion mode)...


And not forgetting his vehicle / flight mode... which has no official transformation in this Robot Masters series...


... and their combined jet mode... super nice... reminds me of the Decepticon Powermaster brothers...



Next, their robot modes... Saber in his robot mode... Cute little fella, hahahaha....


And after (manual) drilling a hole at each of the "feet" of Saber, Saber can be securely pegged into the 2 little dowels and stand on V-Star, just like in the cartoon!


Star Saber!!!! ... The ball joint at the hip as broken, and had to replace with the old KO version, with much sawing, filing, trimming, etc...

I know it is not painted nicely... very rough surface, but sigh... what to do... can't find metallic spray paint, nor does this paint stick well to the plastic... anyway, next TF to work on... probably will be the Cattoys RM Star Saber and Victory Leo set, which I am having problems transforming the combiner feet...

Not in a good mood now, due to some mis-delivery of goods ... anyway...

Just wanted to clarify here that I don't quite like the idea of people leaving traces (links) to some other websites on my blog's comments section, so please don't feel offended that I delete your such posts... Personal view, preference and stand...

I probably may also not reply to comments that are asking questions that are already answered in the posts, or random personal questions... I think while it is good to exchange thoughts, it probably will be good if one can read up first...
